Our Children's Memorial Walkway - Additional Resources

Kristen Foundation for Missing Adults www.kristenfoundation.org
The Foundation is named after Kristen Modafferi, a Park Scholar at NC State
University and Charlotte resident who disappeared in 1997, without a trace
while working and studying in San Francisco, CA. At the time of her
disappearance, Kristen was only three weeks past her 18th birthday. During the search for their daughter, the Modafferi family discovered that there were not federal or state funds available to assist in the search for Kristen and she was considered an adult because she was 18; nor were funds available from NCMEC.
In 2000, the Kristen Foundation for Missing Adults was established as a state and federal not-for-profit national charitable organization to assist the families of missing and endangered adults.
The Kristen Foundation raises funds to assist with emotional, financial, search teams, private investigators, bill board ads, fliers, and travel expenses.
